John Van Fleet is a noted illustrator and has worked with DC Comics to interpret their characters in his unique and graphic style.
 

After the Joker shot and crippled Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), effectively ending her career, Batgirl retreated to the clock tower where the Joker’s assault occurred, and became the wheelchair-bound Oracle. John designed this image with the clock tower background as a foreshadowing to her dark future.

All prints in the Countdown to Oracle edition are signed by John Van Fleet.
